Public Notice Regarding Destruction of Special Education Records 

It is hereby given that on July 1, 2023, Special Education Records for students who have graduated, moved, dropped, been dismissed, or found ineligible for services prior to the 2018-2019 school year. In accordance with State and Federal guidelines, special education records are maintained for six years after the student exits the program. Parents of these children or the child, provided he/she has reached age 18, have the right to review and/or receive these records before they are destroyed.
