Testing and Assessment FAQs

Arkansas Virtual Academy (ARVA) students are required to take the following tests:

• Course lesson assessments
• Course unit assessments
• Semester assessments
• ACT Aspire (grades 3–10)
• Star360 (grades K–2)
• Other assessments needed to drive instruction and monitor progress

Yes. As public school students, ARVA students must participate in all state-mandated testing. This is a mandatory requirement.
