Testing and Assessment FAQs
What tests will my child be required to take?
Arkansas Virtual Academy (ARVA) students are required to take the following tests:
- Course lesson assessments
- Course unit assessments
- Semester assessments
- ACT Aspire (grades 3–10)
- Star360 (grades K–2)
- Other assessments needed to drive instruction and monitor progress
Will my child have to participate in state testing?
Yes. As public school students, ARVA students must participate in all state-mandated testing. This is a mandatory requirement.
