About Brittani Juarez & Terri Riley

Mrs. Juarez: Hey ARVA Diamonds! This is my 12th year teaching high school English, and I’m passionate about helping students grow--not just in reading and writing skills, but in finding their unique voice and vision. I have been a student activities sponsor for 10 years and am excited to work the National Honor Society - Diamond Chapter here at ARVA! A few fun facts about me: I am one of fifteen educators in my family, I love Dr. Pepper and I have a French bulldog named Raidi. When we aren’t on the field, stage, gym or track, my family and I love to travel! Mrs. Riley: This is my 2nd year teaching at ARVA, and I am so excited to help guide you through your 10th grade English class! Prior to teaching at ARVA, I taught AP Literature, AP Language and senior English at Hamburg High School for 28.5 years. A few fun facts about me: I LOVE to read, but I also enjoy binging Netflix series, watching & making TikToks (@teacherterri). I have been married for 32 years and have a daughter who is also a teacher at ARVA. You might see a Ms. Gracie in 10th grade history and that is her! We have 5 adopted rescue dogs & live in Hamburg (home to the World Famous Armadillo Festival). I am also the President of PAWS!
